Barn Quilt Patterns to Paint on Wood

Barn Quilt Workshop sells three original barn quilt patterns and a bundle of all three. Each pattern is a distinct drawing, not the same shapes recolored, so the differences below are about how each one is actually built, not just which palette you apply.

North Star

An eight-point star built from sharp, radiating facets that meet at a bold center and fan outward toward a calm, open border. Reads as a single strong star from a distance, with contrasting triangular facets up close. $15. See North Star.

Prairie Compass

A four-block grid where each block's triangles flip direction from its neighbors, creating a steady, pinwheel-like rhythm. A two-tone design at heart, easy to read at a distance and forgiving to paint since each block repeats the same two shapes. $15. See Prairie Compass.

Harvest Weave

Diagonal bands set across a six-block grid so that neighboring blocks interlock rather than repeat, giving a woven, layered look. Uses more of the palette's contrast than the simpler patterns, for a busier, richer finished piece. $15. See Harvest Weave.
